With 25 years of sales and marketing experience in West Michigan real estate, Kurt is a veteran in the industry.  His success and longevity stem from knowing all phases of construction and being an expert in his market. Over the years he has become a go-to guy for brokering land acquisition, land development and engineering.  Kurt’s success comes from his love for people and a real desire to take a plan and help turn it into their dream home! 

Kurt’s communities are located in the southwest suburbs of Grand Rapids where he resides with his wife and his two children.  They are active members at their church and in the community; volunteering at schools and supporting the local arts and athletic teams.  Two of Kurt’s passions are volunteering as support staff for a local men’s ministry and serving on the founding board of HQ, a drop-in center for homeless and runaway youth in Grand Rapids.  

After 19 years of business to business sales, Sara made the decision to add real estate to her resume.  The ‘homes business’ is a family endeavor. Raised by a custom builder father and interior designer mother then marrying a realtor, Sara has been surrounded by real estate and the building industry her whole life.  It was the natural next step when Sara and husband, Kurt opened their own brokerage in 2015. 

Helping others find their dream home or see the potential in a fixer-upper is her passion. She loves getting the best price for her seller’s current home while also helping to make the moving transition a positive experience for them. With over $45 million in sales in her first 5 years, Sara has become an expert in negotiations and just making people happy! 

She resides in the community she serves in with her husband and two children.  They are active members of their church and Sara supports the local schools through service with the athletic boosters and volunteering with the arts programs.

Guiding clients to their dreams has been my mission since 1996. Whether on the river behind the oars of a drift boat or more recently buying/selling that perfect home, understanding the client’s goal is key to success from the start.

Jen first met Kurt and Sara when living in the same Hudsonville neighborhood in 2004.  After working with Kurt for her family’s new home purchase in 2011, she combined her love for all things real estate and construction to take on the role of Kurt’s Administrative Assistant. Since then Jen has been committed to the success of Kurt and to the clients they serve.  In her role, which includes being a licensed Realtor, she provides excellent customer care, transaction and business management support.

Jodi is an upbeat, outgoing and committed individual in everything she does. Her determined personality helps couples and individuals find the home of their dreams. Growing up in West Michigan has given her the insight into the wonderful possibilities in this area. She has co-built and designed numerous homes in the community. 

Jodi enjoys traveling with her husband, with whom she shares 6 children and numerous grandchildren that they love spending time with. 

Entering the real estate profession after excelling in over 20 years of sales experience including medical and pharmaceutical sales, Nikki comes equipped to represent her clients with professionalism and integrity. While her award-winning background gave her a strong foundation in sales, customer service, and establishing strong business relationships, her association with one of the areas fastest growing brokerage firms provides her momentum and strength. With over 25 years of residency in the West Michigan area, her knowledge and expertise in the area will help her continue her sales success at Suburban Realty Group. 

Nikki is also dedicated to her family and her community.  She and her husband, Mike, have four children and can be seen attending several sporting, church, and music events in the area.

I have lived in West Michigan my entire life.  I love this community and the values it stands for.  It is no wonder West Michigan has become one of the most popular places to live in the United States with so many area attractions, lower cost of living and beauty!   

After 32 years in education as a teacher in Holland, Administrator in Hudsonville and Regional Director for many schools in West Michigan, I recently retired from education to pursue another passion; Real estate!  I enjoy the opportunity to serve people and connect them with their dreams of owning a home.  I was sincerely glad to start working with Kurt and Sara at Suburban Realty Group as I have known them for many years.  For some of these years, serving as the principal at their children’s elementary school. 

I am married to Kellie (a teacher herself) and have two children. One of whom recently graduated from Hope College and another attending GVSU.  We love spending time in northern Michigan during the summer and fall and being with family, friends and our church community.  You may also find me on the golf course occasionally or just working in the yard.
